The group investigates the theoretical and methodological foundations of Narrative Research within Teacher Training. It has the support of the University of Alberta Professor Jean Clandinin, Canada, a specialist in and one of the precursors of studies into teacher training from a Narrative Research perspective.
Her participation in the group reverberates among Brazilian and Canadian researchers.
The publication of a chapter authored by Professor Dilma M. de Mello, head of the research group, in the Handbook of Narrative Research, published by Sage Publications in Canada in 2007, and the translation of the book Narrative Inquiry, authored by Jean Clandinin in 2011, formalize and consolidate the partnership between these two researchers and eventually the research group in the field of Narrative Research.
